Looking for something to jazz up your Friday evenings? ROPE coordinates Friday night trips to local rock gym Climb Capuchin! Whether you've never climbed or climb on a daily basis, all students are invited to join us. There are a variety of climbs for all skill levels throughout the gym. Participants can learn to belay or test out if experienced. Registration closes noon the Friday of the climb or when full.

ROPE utilizes chemical (iodine or chlorine) treatment to provide safe drinking water on backcountry trips. Participants are welcome to purchase and use a personal water filter if desired. A lightweight, versatile personal filtration system, the MINI provides 0.1 micron absolute filtration for clean drinking water on the go — filtering out bacteria, protozoa, and microplastics.

ROPE Trips require at least 1 bottle with a 1 liter/32oz capacity. Nalgene wide mouth bottles have been an industry standard for decades for their durability and light weight. Bottles included a painted ROPE logo.
